The PT-3600 can be used either stand-alone or linked to a PC to make it easy to download graphics, symbols and logos. The PT-3600 has a choice of built-in barcodes and the ability to produce labels up to 36mm. The PT-3600 is the very epitomy of versatility. The RNIB (Royal National Institute for the Blind) Sensory Design Services have endorsed the labels produced by this machine. Labels can be produced in large font sizes (up to 36mm) in arrange of bright and contrasting colours. The RNIB have determined that these label features can aid partially sighted people. The Brother P-touch 3600 offers a true QWERTY keyboard and connects direct to your PC via the USB port and produces durable, laminated labels in seconds. It comes complete with Brother’s P-touch Quick Editor software so you can easily design labels on screen using text, images and logos and has special features such as a multifunctional cutter and rotate print function.

Brother’s unique, patented TZ tapes are designed to be extra hard wearing. Tests have shown that they can withstand heavy abrasion, electrical resistance and lengthy exposure to chemicals, sunlight, water and extreme temperatures. Brother laminated tapes consist of six layers of materials, resulting in a thin, extremely strong label. Characters formed with thermal transfer ink are actually printed onto the underside of the laminate. Sandwiched between two layers of PET (polyester film) this lets you create characters that are virtually indestructible.
