The Green BitThe EU Eco-label (also known as the EU Eco-Flower) is an independent accreditation that considers environmental factors that other labels do not, addressing the growing demand for environmentally friendly products.
Products displaying the EU Eco-label use less energy, consume fewer natural resources (e.g. water and raw materials), have lower impact on air quality and ultimately contribute to ozone layer protection and environmental safety.
Unlike other labels, the EU Eco-Label covers the following criteria under environmental label accreditation schemes; Scope, recycled fibre use, wood raw material, chemicals, energy use, emissions, waste management and recyclability.
